I feel VLT (Very Luck Today), as I won quite a few iPads, iPhones and MacBook Pros early in the morning. Luckily enough these Phishing campaigns are keep entertaining me and makes me smiling. In the other hand I become sad thinking about poor people taking these fraud seriously giving revenue to the bad guys.

Did Tesco just Phishing for Credit Cards?

As you may know, Tesco put the new iPad 3 64G/Wifi to their webstore for £50. Yes, for fifty pounds!

Obviously the message spread like a virus and in 30 minutes their website crashed. Than Tesco discovered the ‘mistake’ and they have stated that they will NOT deliver the item for this low price even if you successfully purchased one.

Now the twist is: What if Tesco just put this incredibly low price there for grabbing credit card details? Many people may never bought anything from Tesco before, and now they just made a purchase for this item at Tesco who was never intended to sell these anyway – so Tesco now has a nice credit card database for free! (I loooove conspiracy theories lol)
